about

It's hard to really explain how much this song means to me. There is a DEEP personal connection with these lyrics. It's definitely one of my favorites from this album. All I can say, Is that this song is about wanting the Creator to have complete control over everything in my life.
This song was written out of a serious purity struggle in my life, and then the freedom that i get out of lining up my circles (body, soul, and spirit).
Like most of my songs, its hard to explain this song exactly! If you have any questions about the song, recording, mix, etc. email me at micahjosiah@ymail.com.

lyrics

Circles
by Micah J. Dailey

Verse 1:
Meet with disaster
The gyrating sphere fractured
I’m thrashed as all get out
But body to callused to roar it out
Soul so tired it screams, “DAMN YOU TO HELL!”

Verse 2:
Same nightly duties
Clean out my body
Brush my bones of any dross
Roll in the mud just because

Verse 3:
Why the hell does hell looks so good from here
And Paradise looks like foolishness from there
I just break the axle in half
And turn this wheel right
And turn this wheel left

Chorus:
Line me up
Turn me around
Celestial bodies
Living by His grounds

Route my gates
So Daddy can shatter the locks
Break the windows
Control my circles

Verse 4:
Meet with beauty
The gyrating sphere re-constructed
He was thrashed as all get out
But my bodies lined up with my core now
My soul screams, “rush waters, rush!”
