about
Me and my best friend, Levi Halsey, wrote this song to basically express the importance of taking ownership of our sins, and worshiping the creator and not trying to get the creator to worship our problems!
It was written to make people angry. People don't want to hear that they are sinners, but the gospel says we are. The creator wants us to share this....even if it pisses people off.
In fact I WANT people to get mad/pissed off, but I want that anger to change into a holy anger for sin.
it would take a lot to explain every line, and every symbolism. So...if you have any questions about the song, recording, mix, etc. email me at micahjosiah@ymail.com (not yahoo).
Verse 1:
He looked down from his sand castle
To a man swinging from a tree
Screaming, ‘Worship MY problems! FIX ME! FIX ME!”
Verse 2:
I am the flat frigid face
Being beat repeatedly
All the while
Screaming, ‘TO HELL WITH YOU! SINNER! WHORE! THEIF!’
Verse 3:
Craving for morphine
I received a knife named, ‘Spirit’
To sink past my flesh
Blade turned fountain beneath my skin
An irrevocable mountain within
