This song is based off of something Paul said (1 Timothy 1:15-16). Paul...the apostle! A servant of God. The worst of sinners? How? Why?

I find that I like to compare myself to people to make myself feel better about my problems. "Oh! well at least i haven't done THAT!" When I read/heard that Paul called himself the worst of sinners, that really hit me.
I would rather sit and make rules to follow, then have a relationship with God?
I would rather sit and judge people (who are actually doing things the right way) so i can feel better about MY sin, than die to myself so i can REALLY be alive?
The church takes PRIDE in their comparisons to the world.

I believe that there is freedom in realizing that you are the worst of sinners, and it's a SUCKY reality!
My prayer is what the bridge says, and my hope is that you make it yours.
